School Housekeeping Staff

About the role

The School Housekeeping Staff member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across the CS Academy campus in Coimbatore. The role supports students, teachers and visitors by ensuring classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas are spotless and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms and other common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches and railings.
• Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly and replenish restroom supplies (soap, tissue, toilet paper).
• Clean windows, glass doors and notice boards on a regular schedule.
• Report any maintenance issues (broken fixtures, leaks, etc.) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning for school functions and meetings.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
