School Housekeeping Staff

About the role

The School Housekeeping Staff member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout CS Academy’s campus in Coimbatore. The role ensures that classrooms, offices, restrooms, corridors and common areas are kept clean, safe and pleasant for students, teachers and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches and railings.
• Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly and replenish restroom supplies (soap, tissue, toilet paper).
• Clean windows, glass doors and notice boards on a regular basis.
• Report any maintenance issues (broken fixtures, leaks, etc.) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning during school functions, meetings or events.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

• Willingness to report maintenance problems promptly.
• Readiness to support school events with setup and cleanup tasks.
