School Housekeeping Staff

About the role

The School Housekeeping Staff ensures that all areas of CS Academy remain clean, hygienic, and safe for students, teachers, and visitors. This role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, restrooms, and common spaces, as well as supporting school events with setup and post‑event cleaning.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms, and common areas on a daily basis.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches, and railings.
• Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and replenish restroom supplies (soap, tissue, toilet paper).
• Clean windows, glass doors, and notice boards regularly.
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning for school functions and meetings.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition and follow health and safety procedures.
