About the role
The School Helper provides essential general support and maintains cleanliness across the school environment. This role ensures that learning spaces are safe, hygienic, and welcoming for students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to keep the school premises spotless.
- Ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
- Collaborate with school staff to address specific cleaning needs.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices and equipment.
