About the role
We are looking for a reliable Helper to support the daily cleanliness and hygiene of our school environment. The role involves maintaining tidy classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant learning space for students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the school premises.
- Maintain hygiene standards in classrooms, offices, restrooms and shared spaces.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to address specific cleaning needs.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle equipment.
- Commitment to health, safety and safeguarding standards.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of best cleaning practices and proper use of equipment.
