Scaffolding Inspector

About the role

This on‑site, shutdown position is for a Scaffolding Inspector based in Barmer. You will be responsible for daily inspections of erected scaffolding, ensuring structural integrity, correct assembly, and full compliance with safety regulations before any work at height begins.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily visual and physical inspections of scaffolding structures.
• Verify that all fall‑protection and access systems are correctly installed and tagged.
• Identify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, safety teams, and toolbox‑talk facilitators.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support incident‑prevention initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong practical knowledge of scaffolding erection and inspection practices.
• Experience working at height and with fall‑protection measures.
• Familiarity with confined‑space safety procedures and entry protocols.
• Relevant safety certifications such as STI or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects (preferred).
• Technical or safety‑related diploma/degree is an advantage.
