SCADA Solution Developer

About the role

Airbus India’s Digital team is seeking a skilled SCADA Solution Developer to join the Industrial Automation & Robotics product line. You will work on Wonderware/AVEVA platforms, delivering new applications and enhancing existing solutions in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy SCADA applications on Intouch, Alpana, and Historian Insight platforms based on IT specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in Wonderware/AVEVA environments.
• Perform small evolutions and modifications to existing applications.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and create detailed run‑books and knowledge‑base articles.
• Execute test cases in Development and QA environments and manage release engineering, including change and release planning.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations with Wonderware/AVEVA platforms (Intouch, IAS, Alpana, Historian Insight).
• Formal training and certification on the AVEVA System Platform.
• Proficiency in agile project methodologies.
• Strong understanding of plant modeling, I/O communication, alarms, history, security, redundancy, and scripting.
• Good knowledge of database management (MS‑SQL).NET scripting, and reporting is a plus.
