SAP PS Consultant – Application Support & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an SAP PS Consultant to provide application support and maintenance for our SAP Project System environment. The role involves handling incidents, problems and service requests, ensuring smooth operation of project planning, budgeting and execution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incident, problem and service request tickets related to SAP PS using the ServiceNow (SMT/ITSM) tool.
• Configure and maintain master data such as WBS elements, networks, project profiles and standard networks.
• Support project planning activities including cost, revenue, scheduling and capacity planning.
• Assist with budgeting processes, project execution monitoring, milestone tracking and progress analysis.
• Participate in project closing activities such as settlement, technical completion and business closure.
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD and HCM teams for cost postings, procurement, billing and resource management.
• Provide consulting and decision‑making support to end‑users, following ITIL best practices.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or MBA with at least 4 years of SAP PS consulting experience.
• Basic understanding of the ITIL framework.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• SAP Project System (PS) R/3 and S/4HANA.
• ITIL process knowledge.
• ServiceNow ticketing tool.
• Integration knowledge of SAP FI, CO, MM, SD and HCM modules.
