SAP FICO Consultant (CA Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification to lead implementation, rollout, and optimization projects for SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. The role involves close collaboration with finance, audit, tax, and business stakeholders to ensure robust financial processes and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO configurations.
• Configure and maintain GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Design and optimize financial processes in line with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments, reports, interfaces, and forms.
• Conduct system testing, UAT, training, and knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Provide production support and resolve SAP FICO issues.
• Ensure integration with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (mandatory/preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Minimum 1–2 end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
