SAP Developer Internship – Digital CoE for ERP

About the role

This 6‑month internship in the Digital CoE for ERP India team at Airbus India offers hands‑on experience with SAP platforms, including ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori and the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Translate core computer‑science concepts (OOP, SQL, web standards) into SAP‑specific environments such as ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, or SAP BTP.
• Develop and test APIs, OData services and data pipelines to enable data sharing across enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and senior architects to turn business requirements into technical documentation and working code.
• Conduct unit testing, debug issues and optimise database queries to ensure secure, efficient operation of enterprise tools.

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to debugging and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
