SAP Controller & AI Executive – Mining Industry

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Controller & AI Executive to lead financial controlling for our mining business unit. Based in Lower Parel, Mumbai, you will combine deep SAP finance expertise with emerging AI tools to drive accurate reporting and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAP CO module operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and deliver timely financial statements.
• Drive process automation and develop AI‑enabled financial dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system data quality and support SAP/AI tool implementation.
• Analyse large datasets to provide actionable business recommendations.
• Continuously enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑CA experience in finance, preferably within SAP controlling.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FICO/CO modules.
• Exposure to AI or automation tools such as Power BI, Python or R.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
