SAP Basis & Technology Consultant

About the role

Syntax Systems Ltd is looking for an experienced SAP Basis and Technology Consultant to design, build, and deploy SAP solutions for its enterprise clients. The role involves working on both private (on‑premise) and public cloud SAP environments, supporting greenfield, bluefield, and brownfield projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, Fiori Launchpad, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related modules in public and private clouds.
• Administer SAP system landscape, including installations, configuration, SSO, certificates, performance tuning, and database maintenance.
• Plan and execute SAP upgrades, migrations, and system integrations with third‑party solutions.
• Collaborate with users, internal IT teams, managed service providers, and vendors to resolve incidents and ensure SLA compliance.
• Provide on‑call support outside standard business hours as required.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on SAP RISE (public and private) platforms.
• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP application administration, especially SAP ERP (S/4HANA, ECC) and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Strong background in database technologies such as SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MaxDB, and Sybase ASE.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education.
