About the role
The Sales Team Lead will drive the implementation of the sales strategy and business development for the Direct Sales segment. Reporting to the vertical head, the role focuses on prospecting new accounts across assigned projects and geographies, building channel partner networks, and leading a team of 4‑5 sales managers to achieve revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Support the vertical head in preparing the annual sales strategy and action plans for designated markets.
- Guide the team in leveraging and expanding a network of channel partners to acquire new business and manage client relationships.
- Identify and qualify leads in target markets, ensuring personal and team targets are met.
- Engage with prospects, conduct site visits, and nurture relationships from proposal to contract.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and construction dynamics to inform sales tactics.
- Collaborate with internal departments to secure necessary documentation and oversee collections for assigned accounts.
- Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and performance monitoring for the sales managers.
Required profile
- Proven experience in implementing sales strategies and driving business development.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect new accounts and manage a pipeline of leads.
- Experience leading a team of sales managers, setting targets and ensuring achievement.
- Strong client‑relationship skills with the ability to represent the brand in negotiations.
- In‑depth product knowledge at the project level and ability to communicate it effectively.
- Awareness of market dynamics, competitor pricing, and industry trends.
