Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will work on‑site in Belgaum, driving new business and managing existing relationships with distributors, retailers and other channel partners for Astral Adhesives. This full‑time position focuses on expanding market presence for a leading manufacturer of adhesives and construction chemicals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Generate leads, qualify prospects and convert them into sales.
• Conduct sales visits, present product portfolios and negotiate orders and pricing within company guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and other channel partners.
• Process orders, track sales performance and support marketing initiatives.
• Address customer service queries, gather market feedback and collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, construction products or related industries.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
