Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will work on‑site in Tiruppur, driving sales of Bajaj Finserv’s financial products. You will identify prospects, present product benefits, and manage the end‑to‑end sales process while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads for the company’s lending, insurance and wealth advisory products.
• Explain product features and benefits to potential customers.
• Support and coordinate with channel partners to expand sales reach.
• Handle basic sales operations, including documentation, follow‑ups and record‑keeping.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report performance.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve inquiries and build long‑term relationships.
• Experience in lead generation and sales operations, managing pipelines efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for presentations, negotiations and internal coordination.
• Familiarity with channel sales and partner management.
• Basic understanding of financial products such as lending or insurance.
• Ability to thrive in a target‑driven environment and solve problems proactively.
• Proficiency in the local language and working knowledge of English.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; prior sales or financial services experience is a plus.
