Sales Manager – Logistics Services

About the role

The Sales Manager – Logistics Services drives new business acquisition and ensures a smooth onboarding experience for SME and B2B clients. The role manages the lead funnel, oversees the first two months of account activity, and prepares the account for long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue SME and B2B prospects, maintaining a healthy pipeline from prospect to closed deal.
• Conduct discovery meetings, present customized logistics proposals, and coordinate with operations and pricing teams to finalize commercially viable deals.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding for new clients, including system setup, account configuration and first‑shipment coordination.
• Monitor initial shipments, flag any service breaches, and hold regular check‑ins to ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform a formal month‑one performance review, identify growth opportunities, resolve operational issues and hand over the account to the Account Management team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within logistics or transportation services.
• Strong ability to manage a structured lead funnel and meet monthly acquisition targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills across sales, operations, IT and customer service.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering a high‑quality onboarding experience.
