About the role
Swiggy is looking for a Sales Manager I to lead acquisition and engagement of single‑outlet independent restaurants in an assigned city. You will act as the primary point of contact, understand each partner’s business, and help them grow orders, visibility and customer engagement through Swiggy’s platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own a defined geographic territory and build strong relationships with restaurant partners.
- Conduct in‑person visits, deliver product demos, ROI analysis and present partnership benefits.
- Diagnose partner needs, position Swiggy’s solutions and manage the full sales lifecycle from pitching to activation and ongoing support.
- Track adoption metrics, troubleshoot growth issues and adjust strategies based on data.
- Maintain revenue targets, manage pipeline and report performance using city and central trackers.
- Stay updated on restaurant trends, competitive landscape and local market dynamics, feeding insights back to product teams.
Required profile
- 0–2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the food‑service or on‑demand delivery sector.
- Strong consultative selling mindset with ability to understand and solve partner challenges.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable and comfortable with frequent field visits.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Data analysis and reporting.
