About the role
The Sales Manager will drive profitable growth of the animal nutrition business in India, focusing on vitamins and carotenoids. You will lead sales activities, build strategic relationships, and support product development and market planning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and direct sales activities across India to meet volume, pricing and cost targets.
- Own top‑line, bottom‑line, and volume growth against annual goals.
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts and decision‑makers.
- Promote and improve sales of vitamins and carotenoids in the animal nutrition market.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and support product planning.
- Collaborate with R&D, customer service and logistics to ensure seamless customer communication.
- Gather market intelligence, nurture distributor networks, and manage cash‑flow KPIs such as DSO and DIV.
- Identify new customers and applications to build a strong pipeline for existing and new products.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or B.Sc. in Animal Nutrition (MBA is a plus).
- 8–12 years of experience in feed supplements or animal nutrition industry.
- Techno‑commercial mindset with strong customer focus and entrepreneurial drive.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
