Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, reservations and loyalty program requests while driving revenue through up‑selling and promotional activities. This role supports the Sales & Marketing team in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, emails and requests, resolving issues and providing information about services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up‑selling rooms, amenities and loyalty rewards.
• Process Marriott Rewards points, reservations, changes and cancellations using the hotel’s reservation system.
• Issue complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets or certificates to recognize guest loyalty.
• Perform general office duties – filing, emailing, typing, faxing – to support the Sales & Marketing department.
• Assist management with employee training and motivation, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
• Handle light physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in sales, guest services or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
