Sales Executive - Growth & Development

About the role

The Sales Executive – Growth & Development will be the frontline field representative for Vikas Medical Devices, promoting a portfolio of world‑class OEM medical equipment to hospitals, nursing homes and clinics in the Kalyani region. This position offers an excellent entry point into MedTech sales with extensive exposure to product demonstrations, lead generation and customer relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, nursing homes and clinics to create product awareness.
• Generate, qualify and close sales leads.
• Support product demonstrations and clinical presentations.
• Maintain accurate customer visit logs and update lead status.
• Build relationships with purchase departments, biomedical engineers and nursing heads.
• Assist in coordinating equipment deliveries, installations and related documentation.
• Collect market feedback on competitor products, pricing and emerging opportunities.
• Participate in mandatory product and sales training programmes.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of medical equipment and hospital environments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a field‑sales setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both local language and English.
• High energy, self‑driven and comfortable with extensive field travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
