Sales Executive – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business for JCNT Elevators by promoting our elevator, escalator and walkway solutions across northeast India. Based in Itanagar, you will work on‑site, meeting clients, preparing proposals and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the commercial, residential and institutional sectors.
• Meet prospective clients, present product portfolios and conduct on‑site visits.
• Prepare accurate quotes and proposals, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and update records in the company CRM or tracking system.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure technical accuracy of proposals.
• Build long‑term relationships, handle post‑sale inquiries and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development abilities, including lead generation, prospecting and closing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Basic technical understanding of elevators, escalators or related engineering products with a willingness to learn specifications.
• Proficiency in documentation, proposal writing and record‑keeping.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel within the region and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Prior experience in industrial, construction or infrastructure sales preferred; elevator or mechanical systems sales is an advantage.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
