Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate will work on‑site in Ahmedabad, representing AP Group’s portfolio of premium and luxury brands. You will welcome customers, provide product expertise and guide them through purchase decisions while contributing to store sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, delivering a high‑touch luxury retail experience.
• Provide detailed product information and personalized recommendations.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through upselling and cross‑selling.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock is well‑presented.
• Handle billing, POS transactions and cash/card payments accurately.
• Support regular inventory checks and stock management.
• Build long‑term relationships and manage after‑sales queries.
• Collaborate with the team on promotional activities and brand standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven sales and upselling skills with a focus on meeting targets.
• Clear spoken English (or local language) and professional presentation.
• Basic retail operations knowledge, including POS handling and cash management.
• High reliability, attention to detail and ability to maintain store hygiene.
• Previous experience in premium or luxury retail is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
