Sales Advisor – India Subcontinent

About the role

Wilhelmsen Marine Products India Private Limited is seeking a Sales Advisor for the India Subcontinent, based in Mumbai. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, delivering top‑class service while actively driving sales growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Guide customers on product selection, timing, and optimal sourcing.
• Follow up on quotations, convert leads into orders, and manage order delivery status.
• Ensure accurate and timely order management, proactively addressing potential issues.
• Capture leads, promote sales campaigns, and support high‑value enquiries according to global processes.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Technical Sales teams during customer visits.
• Provide operational insights for business reviews and support sales reporting.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on sales growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to understand and support decision‑makers’ needs.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple quotations and orders.
