Sales Account Manager

About the role

Markem-Imaje is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive growth across an assigned territory. The role focuses on expanding market share, managing existing customer relationships, and generating new business opportunities for our product identification and traceability solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue and market‑share targets for the designated territory.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan covering all accounts.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while ensuring high satisfaction.
• Identify and close additional sales opportunities within the current customer base.
• Prospect new customers and build relationships in the territory.
• Follow the Markem‑Imaje sales process, policies, and expense guidelines.
• Utilise the company’s CRM system for accurate forecasting and reporting.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with US‑based MNCs in packaging or automation.
• Strong product knowledge of marking and coding solutions.
• Proven track record in sales forecasting, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
