Safety Engineer (Building)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer with over 10 years of experience to lead safety compliance and risk management for building projects across Pan‑India airport infrastructure. The role involves developing safety plans, conducting assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans in line with local and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits on‑site.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols for workers, contractors, and visitors.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training programs and promote safety awareness among project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of safety engineering experience on building projects, preferably in airport infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of safety management systems, hazard identification and risk assessment techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency with safety software tools such as HAZOP and HAZID.
• Experience using incident reporting systems and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of IoT‑based monitoring systems and AI‑driven safety analytics (preferred).
