Rooms Sales Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Rooms Sales Manager will lead revenue generation for the hotel’s accommodation portfolio. Based on‑site in Thane, the role focuses on acquiring and nurturing corporate, travel‑agent and group accounts while collaborating closely with front‑office, reservations and revenue teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, travel‑agent and group segments.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits and site inspections to showcase the property.
• Prepare, negotiate and finalize room‑rate proposals, contracts and RFP responses.
• Coordinate with front office, reservations and revenue management to optimise occupancy, pricing and inventory.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Support promotional campaigns and maintain strong guest relationships to drive repeat business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel room sales, key‑account management and business development.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and revenue‑focused selling skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Organised with solid time‑management and reporting capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
