RF Technician II – Antenna Design & Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced RF Technician II to join our team in Verna, Goa. You will play a key part in validating, testing, and integrating microwave and mmWave reflector antenna and feed systems, supporting both R&D and production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design validation, testing, and integration of microwave and mmWave reflector antenna/feed systems.
• Assemble and align reflector antenna feed components (horns, OMTs, waveguides, sub‑reflectors).
• Perform bench‑level RF tests such as return loss, VSWR, insertion loss, and IPI.
• Set up and operate Planar Near Field (PNF) and Cylindrical Near Field (CNF) measurement ranges.
• Operate and maintain anechoic chambers, positioners, scanners, and RF instrumentation (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generators).
• Troubleshoot RF issues, identify root causes, and document resolutions.
• Generate test reports, maintain calibration records, and support outdoor antenna validation.
• Coordinate with RF, mechanical, and process teams for trial builds, BOM verification, and ECN implementation.

Required profile

• Diploma in ECE/Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering with 5 years experience OR B.E. with 3 years experience.
• Strong understanding of microwave/mmWave RF fundamentals and antenna theory.
• Experience with waveguides, coaxial systems, and RF connectors.

• RF chain configuration and troubleshooting.
