Revenue Officer

About the role

The Revenue Officer will manage land‑record documentation and support field surveys for infrastructure projects, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the Field Measurement Book (FMB) for project land records and survey documentation.
• Collect, verify, and prepare Revenue Maps (Tatima) and other land ownership records required for statutory approvals.
• Conduct detailed land surveys and measurements within the complete project boundary.
• Carry out site demarcation of project boundaries as per revenue records, approved layouts, and coordinates.
• Coordinate with Forest, Revenue, and other Government Departments for preparation of revenue record and map (Tatima) for submission of forest case and tree felling permission.
• Verify land ownership, khasra details, and boundary alignment with revenue records.
• Ensure accuracy of survey data and maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
• Support project teams in resolving land‑related issues and boundary disputes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable land acquisition, forest, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in infrastructure, transmission line, renewable energy, or industrial projects.
• Conversant with Land Revenue Records and cadastral documentation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of revenue records and Tatima maps.
• Experience preparing Field Measurement Book (FMB).
• Proficiency in land surveying techniques and coordinate systems.
• Understanding of land demarcation and cadastral mapping.
