Retail Expansion Project Manager – Jaipur

About the role

River is seeking a Retail Expansion Project Manager to lead the launch of new Experience Centers and Service Centers in Jaipur. You will act as the bridge between dealers, design agencies, contractors and internal teams to ensure each site is delivered on time, on budget and to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate strategic locations in partnership with dealers.
• Adapt global Experience Center and Service Center templates to local floor plans.
• Coordinate with design firms to produce accurate architectural, electrical and plumbing drawings.
• Manage the client‑side of construction, liaising with dealers, contractors, vendors and MEP consultants.
• Ensure fit‑out, graphics, signage and accessories meet brand aesthetics.
• Maintain strict project schedules and conduct regular site inspections.
• Oversee procurement and installation of fixtures, furniture, signage and technical equipment.
• Activate non‑structural elements such as POS systems, internet, utilities and security before opening.
• Supervise initial stock‑in and visual merchandising according to corporate planograms.
• Verify compliance with River’s Management Playbook and coordinate brand/technical certification for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 2–5 years experience in automotive retail build, co‑working space development or commercial interior fit‑outs.
• Proven project‑management experience handling vendors, MEP consultants and contractors across multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project locations.
