About the role
Join Meijer as an Evening Cashier and become the friendly face that greets customers during the later shift. You will work in a supportive, community‑focused environment, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and courteously.
- Accurately process all forms of payment using the POS system.
- Bag purchases and handle merchandise with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Address customer questions and resolve issues in a professional manner.
Required profile
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to learn and use job‑specific technology.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work evenings between 1 pm and 11 pm, full‑time or part‑time.
Required skills
- POS system operation.
