About the role

Join Meijer as an Evening Cashier and become the friendly face that greets customers during the later shift. You will work in a supportive, community‑focused environment, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and courteously.
• Accurately process all forms of payment using the POS system.
• Bag purchases and handle merchandise with care.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Address customer questions and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and use job‑specific technology.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work evenings between 1 pm and 11 pm, full‑time or part‑time.

• POS system operation.
