Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, energetic Restaurant Manager who loves hospitality and enjoys serving guests, building strong teams, and ensuring every visitor leaves happier than they arrived. This hands‑on role requires you to be on the floor, lead by example, and solve problems quickly while maintaining high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.
• Deliver consistent, excellent guest experiences and handle feedback or complaints professionally.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop the restaurant team, managing scheduling, attendance and productivity.
• Maintain high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness and hygiene, following SOPs for opening and closing.
• Monitor sales, costs, wastage and operational KPIs; prepare and analyse reports using Excel.
• Control inventory, coordinate stock requirements and manage peak‑hour operations.
• Drive initiatives to increase sales, average bill value and repeat customers.
• Take full ownership of the outlet’s performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in casual dining.
• Strong guest‑service and people‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on leadership style; comfortable working on the floor during busy periods.
• Ability to understand restaurant numbers and operational reports.
• High energy, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with South Indian cuisine is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
