Restaurant Manager – Bangalore

About the role

Desi Chef is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our Thanisandra Main Road outlet in Bangalore. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining quality standards, and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee complete restaurant operations, both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house.
• Lead, schedule, and discipline staff; manage attendance and performance.
• Recruit junior operational staff and conduct ongoing training.
• Monitor sales, billing, daily reports, and inventory levels.
• Control purchasing, wastage, and food‑cost percentages.
• Manage orders from Zomato, Swiggy and direct channels.
• Address customer complaints and uphold service quality.
• Ensure hygiene, SOP compliance, and coordinate vendor and maintenance activities.
• Report directly to the owner on operational performance.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in restaurant or F&B management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, inventory, and cost control.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and the capacity to run the restaurant independently.

• Salary range ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month plus performance incentives.
