Residential Staff Nurse

About the role

Nightingales Smriti Gram, a dementia care village near Doddaballapura, is seeking a Residential Staff Nurse to provide compassionate, person‑centred care for elders with dementia and other psychiatric conditions. The role is residential and requires a minimum of two to three years of nursing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and record blood pressure, vital signs and blood glucose for all patients.
• Accompany physicians on rounds and report any medical concerns.
• Administer antibiotics and other medications as prescribed, and maintain accurate medication cards.
• Perform dressings, suturing and injections under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.
• Lead responses to medical emergencies and ensure proper handovers between nursing staff.
• Prepare medicine indent, manage inventory of drugs and consumables, and handle billing sheets for treatments.
• Liaise with physicians for external referrals and ensure all required investigations are completed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience as a staff nurse.
• Residential availability and willingness to work on designated floors at all times.
• Strong leadership and emergency management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with physicians.
