Resident Project Manager

About the role

The Resident Project Manager will oversee the execution of critical infrastructure projects, reviewing master schedules, coordinating with the client and multiple contractors, and ensuring progress aligns with the Detailed Project Report.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor master schedules and bar charts prepared by contractors, suggesting improvements to meet milestones.
• Coordinate daily with the client and package contractors, conducting monthly and weekly site meetings to track progress and resolve interface issues.
• Scrutinize contractors' work programs, construction methods, and superintendence to ensure compliance with technical, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Inspect plants, machinery, installations, and materials for conformity with contract documents and specifications.
• Prepare and consolidate weekly/monthly management information reports for client review, including progress, quality, and claim assessments.
• Recommend acceptance or rejection of completed works, evaluate contractor claims, and review interim payment measurements.
• Identify defects, certify as‑built drawings, and compile final documentation for project close‑out and issuance of completion certificates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably at least 10 years of experience in marine mode construction of jetties, wharfs, and related structures.
