Resident Medical Officer

About the role

Meitra Hospital is seeking a full‑time Resident Medical Officer to join its multidisciplinary team in Kozhikode. This on‑site position offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality patient care in a state‑of‑the‑art quaternary care facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Support senior physicians during clinical consultations and surgical procedures.
• Assist in operative cases and other clinical operations as required.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Participate in ongoing medical training, workshops, and continuing education programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with relevant certifications; postgraduate training or specialization is a plus.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Strong knowledge of medicine, patient care, and surgical assistance.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate interpersonal approach and willingness to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
