Resident Construction Manager

About the role

Resident Construction Manager responsible for PMC coordination, construction monitoring and project execution at CBG project sites. The role ensures seamless integration between client, EPC contractors and internal teams to deliver projects on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the principal PMC site representative and coordinate with client, EPC/EPCOM contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Monitor overall construction progress against approved schedule, milestones and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, safety and planning.
• Review contractor DPRs, progress reports, schedules, look‑ahead plans, hindrance records, MOMs and action trackers.
• Oversee contractor mobilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and work fronts, identifying resource constraints.
• Resolve technical issues, site constraints, deviations and interface requirements.
• Ensure quality compliance with approved drawings, specifications and methodologies.
• Conduct weekly/monthly progress review meetings and drive timely closure of action items.
• Monitor project risks, delays and critical activities, coordinating recovery actions with the contractor.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, punch‑list closure and handover activities.
• Maintain proper project documentation, correspondence, site records and as‑built/handover documentation.
• Provide regular project status and management inputs to the PMC/client management team.
