Resident Construction Manager

About the role

The Resident Construction Manager will lead the execution of large‑scale electro‑mechanical projects for NF Forgings. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing works valued at ₹200 Crore or more, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise electro‑mechanical construction activities across multiple EPC sites.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, and monitoring using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract conditions (FIDIC or equivalent) and enforce QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, handling resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Track project progress, cost, and performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in EPC projects, with at least 10 years as a site Resident Construction Manager.
• Background in industries such as steel, power, material handling, coal handling, coke oven, or process plants.
• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards.
• Familiarity with EPC contract conditions (FIDIC or equivalent).
