Reservation Executive

About the role

The Reservation Executive is responsible for managing the group inventory process for the hotel, ensuring accurate entry of room blocks and maintaining close coordination with sales, revenue, and front‑office teams. This role supports the smooth execution of conventions, meetings, and large‑group bookings while delivering high‑quality service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update and cancel convention room blocks in the Property Management System (PMS) accurately and on time.
• Review daily group pick‑up reports, monitor cut‑off dates and adjust room availability according to sales contracts and revenue guidelines.
• Conduct inventory controls, release rooms, extend cut‑offs, and communicate changes to sales and revenue teams.
• Attend revenue‑management, pick‑up, pre‑convention and other relevant meetings.
• Provide service recovery for reservation‑related guest complaints and relay feedback to appropriate departments.
• Answer team queries on revenue‑management procedures and train staff on reservation processes.
• Ensure accuracy of room statistics, operational reports and other related documentation.
• Support occupancy forecasting and contribute to the development of the revenue plan.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience in a similar hospitality reservation or inventory role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Motivation to continuously learn and improve personal performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Knowledge of revenue management and inventory control principles.
• Ability to generate and interpret operational and reporting data.
