About the role

The County of Nordland is looking for an extra‑help cleaner to maintain a range of public buildings in the Narvik zone, including schools, libraries, clinics and rented premises. You will be part of the Cleaning group within the Building and Property department, working on‑site in a supportive public‑service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic cleaning of county‑owned and leased facilities.
• Follow the county’s cleaning standards and documented procedures.
• Use the digital management tool CleanPilot Go to record tasks and report issues.
• Collaborate with building users to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and adhere to safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Vocational certificate as a cleaning operator or equivalent, or extensive relevant experience.
• Willingness to undertake formal training if the certificate is missing.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and service orientation.
• Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian.
• Personal suitability will be assessed during selection.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the CleanPilot Go digital cleaning management system.
