About the role

Mercur is seeking a Remote Clinic Registered Nurse to support AI‑driven health research projects. This part‑time contract position offers flexible, asynchronous work and compensation between $60 and $85 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑horizon health‑administration tasks with deterministic rubrics to evaluate AI agent performance against verified ground truth.
• Build realistic scenarios covering Records, Visits, Medications, Labs, Payer interactions, and Documentation to ensure accurate, structured outputs.
• Assess medical timelines, medication schedules, and insurance appeals for consistency with known outcomes.
• Collaborate with AI research labs to refine agent evaluations in personal health navigation.
• Work independently, meet deadlines, and continuously improve task quality and throughput.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse, patient advocate, medical assistant, or a comparable health‑literate role.
• Hands‑on expertise in insurance appeals, payer navigation, lab result interpretation, medication management, or patient‑portal workflows.
• Comfort creating and interpreting personal health artifacts such as timelines and symptom logs.
• Strong written communication skills to articulate reasoning and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
