About the role
The Registrar – Critical Care Medicine supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care in a critical care setting. Working within Apollo Hospitals, the role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, medication administration, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history, symptoms, and vital signs of patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
- Monitor patient health status and respond to changes promptly.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper bedside care.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment used in critical care.
Required profile
- Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing, or M.Sc Nursing).
- 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience in critical or acute care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑centred approach.
Required skills
- Computer literacy for documentation and data entry.
