Registered Retail Pharmacist – Palghar

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Registered Retail Pharmacist based in Palghar. The pharmacist will dispense medicines, verify prescriptions and provide professional counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, verify prescriptions for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel customers on proper medication use, dosage, side effects and storage.
• Maintain detailed patient and inventory records, monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manage stock replenishment and support store operations to ensure timely service.

Required profile

• Valid registration with the state pharmacy council and a B.Pharm or D.Pharm degree.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, generic and branded medicines, drug interactions and dosage calculations.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and digital record‑keeping.
• Basic computer applications for inventory and reporting.
