Registered Pharmacist

About the role

CARE PHARMACY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Registered Pharmacist to join its Ahmedabad pharmacy. You will be responsible for accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines accurately.
• Review prescriptions for interactions, contraindications, and dosage appropriateness.
• Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and safety.
• Maintain inventory levels, check expiry dates, and ensure secure storage of medicines.
• Handle documentation, billing, and record‑keeping in line with local pharmacy regulations.
• Coordinate with physicians, support basic health screenings, and assist customers in product selection.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and ethical standards within the pharmacy.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacy registration/license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in Ahmedabad.
• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage forms, drug interactions, and treatment guidelines.
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws, controlled‑substance handling, and record‑keeping requirements.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Previous retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
• Experience using billing systems.
• Basic computer applications for inventory and documentation.
