Registered Pharmacist – Full‑time

About the role

Dawaa Dost is seeking a full‑time Registered Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team in the Greater Vadodara area. You will ensure safe, accurate dispensing of medicines while providing clear guidance and counseling to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions, check dosages and drug interactions.
• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines according to legal and regulatory standards.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on medication use, storage, and possible side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient records, inventory logs and support audit/compliance activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve medication‑related queries.
• Promote health‑awareness initiatives and patient counseling.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized and assist with store operations as needed.

Required profile

• Valid registration with the appropriate state pharmacy council and eligibility to practice in India.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations and prescription interpretation.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, including inventory, billing and record‑keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling.
• High attention to detail, ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work onsite with flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications; familiarity with pharmacy management software is a plus.
• D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree; prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
