Registered Nurse – Ophthalmology

About the role

Viaan Eye and Retina Centre is seeking a dedicated Nurse to join its ophthalmology team in Gurgaon. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care within a fast‑paced eye‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring and post‑care guidance.
• Administer medications and perform required medical procedures safely.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records and prepare required reports.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans and self‑care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical protocols and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Graduate degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing registration or license.
• Strong patient‑care abilities, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient interaction.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑moving clinical setting.
