About the role

NGO Parivartan is seeking a dedicated Nurse to join its mental‑health programs in Chandigarh. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct patient care for individuals with mental illness across crisis resolution, home‑based treatment, and community rehabilitation services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
• Assist in crisis resolution interventions and monitor patient safety.
• Support home‑based treatment teams by delivering medication administration and basic health assessments.
• Participate in community‑based rehabilitation activities and caregiver education sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification recognized in India.
• Experience or interest in mental‑health nursing.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chandigarh and travel to patient homes as needed.
• Strong communication skills and empathy for patients and families.
