Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our on‑site team in Chennai. The role involves delivering direct patient care in line with clinical protocols, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and administer medications.
• Support patients with daily living activities and provide compassionate care.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use hospital information systems.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies, participate in shift duties, and contribute to continuous improvement of patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with active registration.
• Proven clinical nursing experience, preferably in medical‑surgical, ICU, or emergency settings.
• Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient assessment, medication administration, and infection control.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and operate hospital information systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to ethical patient care, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Emergency response skills; BLS certification required, ALS certification advantageous.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care safely.
• Prior experience in Chennai‑based or similar urban healthcare environments is a plus.
