Registered Nurse – Interventional Cardiology

About the role

We are looking for motivated Registered Nurses to join the Interventional Cardiology nursing team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, supporting senior charge nurses, and contributing to continuous service improvement within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care to patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures.
• Support the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurses in day‑to‑day operations.
• Lead the nursing team in the absence of senior charge staff.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage fluctuating service pressures while maintaining professional standards.
• Model best practices for junior team members.
• Communicate clearly across internal and external departmental boundaries.
• Work variable shift patterns (24/7) and occasionally cover other clinical areas within GJNH.

Required profile

• Proven nursing skills or working towards a leadership role in the unit.
• Ability to operate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience delivering high‑quality care under variable pressures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive, inclusive attitude and understanding of service demands.
