Regional Training Manager

About the role

The Regional Training Manager will lead the design and delivery of training programs for bancassurance teams across the assigned region. This role focuses on building product knowledge, sales capabilities, and compliance awareness among bank branch staff and insurance sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional training calendar covering induction, product, sales‑process, soft‑skills, and regulatory/compliance topics.
• Conduct training sessions for branch staff, Relationship Managers, Sales Managers, and insurance sales teams.
• Perform Training Need Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps based on business performance.
• Partner with regional business heads and bank stakeholders to align training with strategic objectives.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, field observations, and business KPIs.
• Deliver refresher and remedial training for under‑performing branches or teams.
• Create training materials such as presentations, role‑plays, case studies, quizzes, and digital learning modules.
• Support new product launches and updates to processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach sales managers and branch teams on field execution and sales conversion techniques.
• Maintain training MIS, generate periodic reports on coverage, effectiveness, and outcomes.
• Travel extensively across the region to conduct branch‑level and cluster‑level training.
