Regional Internal Auditor

About the role

The Regional Internal Auditor will lead internal audit engagements across subsidiaries in Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. Reporting to the Vice President of Internal Audit, the role focuses on strengthening the internal control environment and identifying value leakages while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit fieldwork according to agreed schedules.
• Conduct the full audit lifecycle from risk assessment to report issuance independently.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk‑management processes and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify control gaps, propose actionable improvements and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and business stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with senior business managers across the region.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 8‑10 years of experience in internal audit, risk management or related functions, preferably in a large organization or Big Four firm.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, especially the FICO module.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel 30‑40% of the time (approximately 3‑4 months per year) within the region.
• Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment; CIA certification is a plus.
